Admit Card Released, City Allotment List Out, and Exam Date Confirmed!

Exam Date & Mode

• Date: NEET UG 2025 is scheduled for May 4, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 5:20 PM.

• Mode: The exam will be conducted in offline (pen-and-paper) mode in a single day and single shift, as confirmed by the National Testing Agency (NTA) .​

The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2025 is right around the corner, and medical aspirants across India are in full preparation mode. Conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), NEET is the single largest medical entrance exam in the country, opening doors to MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and nursing programs.

The exam will follow its traditional structure—180 multiple-choice questions across Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, with a total of 720 marks. Each correct answer fetches 4 marks, and 1 mark is deducted for every wrong answer.

In a significant change, optional questions in Section B have been removed, meaning all 180 questions are now mandatory. Additionally, APAAR ID is not required for registration, easing the process slightly for applicants.

Recent Changes & Updates

• Optional Questions Removed: The optional questions in Section B have been discontinued. Candidates must now attempt all 180 questions .

• APAAR ID Not Mandatory: The NTA has clarified that an APAAR ID is not required for NEET 2025 registration .

• Biometric Attendance: To enhance exam integrity, biometric attendance may be introduced to prevent impersonation and cheating .

To download the admit card, candidates should visit the official NTA NEET website at neet.nta.nic.in. It is advisable to print multiple copies of the admit card and keep them safe until the completion of the admission process.
